Whitings and Breeze are displaying the same (and correct) step data, given the fact that ALL these data do not come from a device but from the M7 step build into the iphone 5s, it is very hard to understand why the apple health app does not get the step count right. Today's steps are consistent in UP app, however there are soo many data points, I can't even get the Show All Data section to open. Is there a way to wipe all step data points from the Health app?Only the Whitings app is allowed to write step data to apple health, so unless something in that transfer is wrong, the problem should also not be due to multiple step data from more than one app that would hit the apple health app. My step count while being 11000 for the day, shows somewhere between 30*35 thousands. It further shows my daily average at 313,000 steps! Walking/Running distance for the days shows 22.5 miles with a daily average of 108 miles..... I have similar problems: While the Whitings blood pressure data are transferred accurately to apple health, the step display is completely off.
I have their scale (since 2011) and wireless blood pressure monitor. For example, it shows my daily average in steps as 170,688, and miles walked at 80. Additionally, the Dashbord widgets will disappear/reappear for no reason.
Also, I find the heart rate senson on the i Phone 6 to work well, every time. I have tried switching the priority of data sources for the steps dashboard between Withings and my i Phone 6 (because it is indicated that the top source governs the dashboard info), to no avail.
The data transfers on Monday (for example) then doesn't catch up until Thursday or Friday. Blood pressure data, on the other hand, transfers to the Health dashboard immediately.
Withings support says they are looking into the issue. The data from the Withings scale appears in Health Mate but transfers only erratically to the Health dashboard.
For example, I today walked 2400 steps according to Withings, but the Health Dashboard shows 10,700 steps (720,000 in smaller print on another line). The data from the Withings scale appears in Health Mate but transfers only erratically to the Health dashboard.
It further shows my daily average at 313,000 steps! Walking/Running distance for the days shows 22.5 miles with a daily average of 108 miles..... I've turned on sharing in both applications, then turned it off and on again several times.
And next to that button is the micro-USB port for charging the scale, which you’ll basically have to do once per year or so.
You’ll notice if you flip the scale over there are no feet on it (which is incredibly unusual for a scale).
My problems with the Healt App are all over the map.
